It appears that now we can start to dream about holidays in 2021. With the battle over Covid 19 finally looking like it’s coming to an end sometime in the new year we can start to plan our perfect family holiday for 2021. Be it a short educational and relaxing break in one of Europe’s many amazing capitals to holidaying at home and exploring the wonderful beaches of Devon, Cornwall, East Anglia, Scotland or Wales or even travelling for that all-inclusive two weeks of luxury on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula we can all start to work out what the best getaway for our family will look like.

However, you must ensure that how you get to your destination is also secure and safe from Covid 19 as well as the destination itself. There are plenty of news outlets suggesting that even deep into next year Covid security will still need to be at the highest level to stop the infection.

Let’s look at some of the options in our Expert Holiday Advice Article.

Holidays in the UK

Britain has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world of which most is easily accessible by car or public transport. With a young family you know you can get everything that the kids are used to and wherever you are you know the NHS is nearby should you need it. No language barriers, except in Liverpool maybe. The UK has a great motorway infrastructure to help you get around and the food has come on leaps and bounds over the last 15 years or so. You have to take into account that the weather can be changeable and not be relied upon, but the UK knows this already and has plenty of indoor attractions should the weather turn nasty. Also, London is still voted the best city to visit in the world by many of the renowned travel writers. The UK is a good choice for your family getaway.

Short Breaks in Europe

If your family is a bit more grown-up and you have a couple of teenage children, then how about considering a multi capital trip throughout Europe? You will need to check Visa requirements after we leave the EU on December 31st 2020, but in most cases, it’s predicted to be no problem at all to travel. How about flying to Paris, hiring a car and visiting Cologne for a night before travelling on to Geneva and the Alps finally arriving in Monaco, dropping the car off back in France at Marseille and getting the Eurostar home? What an exciting week seeing multiple sights of such differing interest. The whole family will have stories to tell about the family break to Europe.

Family Holidays

I can personally recommend spending 3 weeks basking on the sun-drenched, vast sandy beaches of south-west France. Exploring amazing towns such as Biarritz, Bordeaux and San Sabastian, just over the border into Spain. For a family-friendly holiday check into one of the 5 Star campsites scattered around the coast. Stay in either a tent or a mobile home. With pools, beaches, restaurants, entertainment for children and adults, the comfort of your own car to use whilst you are there it really is a wonderful family vacation which we could not recommend enough.

Worldwide Family Holidays

If you feel like pushing the boat out, then look no further than spending two weeks on an all-inclusive holiday in the sun with the family. With Dubai, Oman, Fiji and the Caribbean offering amazing deals you can be sure to find that perfect family getaway if you are prepared to go long haul. Make sure your taxi to the airport is a Covid 19 secured car and always pre-book with a reputable airport transfer or car service.

Whichever family holiday you choose we are sure that you will have just the most wonderful time together. Have fun!!
