Gibraltar May 2021

Gibraltar

Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory and headland on the south coast of Spain. It is a gorgeous and warm place that is currently on the green list. Gibraltar is very well known for being the only wild monkey population in the whole of Europe, having the southernmost mosque in Europe and even having a floating hotel!

There are no known border closures at this time, however, from the 17th of May the rules for people arriving in Gibraltar have changed. The requirements upon arrival will depend on the countries you have visited in the past 14 days prior to arrival and which colour of the traffic light system those countries are.

If you have only been in green list countries in the past 14 days before arriving, you must book a free Covid-19 lateral flow test before arrival. The test must be done within 24 hours of arrival and if you are in Gibraltar for more than 7 days, you must take a second test on day 5.

Iceland May 2021

Iceland

Tourists are drawn to Iceland because of its stunning natural beauty. The country is nothing short of magical and the scenery is a winter wonderland. Visit the Northern lights, take a dip in the Blue Lagoon or take a little scenic drive through Reykjavik.

Commercial flights to and from Iceland are limited. Non-essential travel by British citizens from the UK/other non-EU/EEA country to Iceland is only permitted if you:

  • Are an Icelandic resident, or
  • Can adequately demonstrate you have either been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or previously recovered from COVID-19 infection.

If you have had a full course of the COVID-19 vaccine, you will only be required to have a test on arrival and follow quarantine measures until the result is known which is usually within 24 hours.

All passengers are required to complete a pre-registration form before arrival, which includes contact information, addresses during your stay in Iceland and a declaration of health.
